ResponderEliminarIt is ugly for the BBC reporters & others to label Ken Russell's films as "self-indulgent, extravagant, overblown, controversial, extreme, etc." The worst label the news media used for him is "flamboyant", which is a thinly veiled, anti-gay slur they chose to insult him, whilst avoiding charges of homophobia. It is as if they are calling him "fag" or "poof" then quickly acknowledging that "some" would call him a genius. Congratulations to Ken Russell on a life well-lived! Shame on the news reporters for attacking the Spirit of Beauty from their own crumbling towers of ignorance.
